Addendum from KalrocVN 6-24-08: This is a simple modification of Syclonix's At Home Alchemy 1.1.  All credit goes to Syclonix for the creation of this mod, I have simply made a minor change.  The updated "No Bounty" version included with this archive removes all ownership checks when attempting to activate a free-standing piece of alchemy.  I thought it was a bit ridiculous that activating a piece of alchemical equipment in the middle of an abandoned Ayleid ruin, an empty shop, a friendly guild, Cloudtop Temple and occasionally even my own house resulted in a crime.  Now no ownership checks at all are performed during activation.  You will of course still commit a crime per vanilla rules if you pick up the apparatus and place it within your inventory.

Installation:

     1. DESCRIPTION

My most popular Morrowind mod has now been ported over to Oblivion! At Home Alchemy is an immersive mod which allows you to use apparatuses in the Game World without having to put them in your inventory first. All you have to do is "fire up" the apparatuses you wish to use and viola! You get the potion making screen. No more lugging around all that heavy equipment, now you can leave your set at home!

How to Play:

Simply fire up all the apparatuses you wish to use by activating them. Fire up the Mortar & Pestle last to bring up the alchemy screen. If you want to use a different apparatus than the one currently active, fire up the new one and the old apparatus will automatically turn off byitself.

To pick up or steal an alchemy apparatus you must be in sneak mode. Alternatively, you can use telekinesis to grab
the object from a distance. Be careful though, if you are caught using an apparatus that doesn't belong to you you will be reported to the guards and your bounty will increase.

1. Copy all files into the 'Oblivion/Data' files directory

2. From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and activate Syc_AtHomeAlchemy.esp
 
3. Start playing!

No known issues. This mod is compatible with all other mods except those that alter existing in-game apparatuses.

This mod is also fully compatible with existing save games. If you choose to uninstall this mod, you may encounter an error message when you reload the saved game without the plugin but will have no adverse effects on your game.
